The Principal in Charge of IHS Architects, Dale Littlefield, has managed the design and construction of more than 25 hotels with a combined constuction cost over 260 Million USD. IHS Architects can performed design, construction document preparation and coordination, construction observation, inspection and pay application review and approval.

Construction Management

Construction and Project Management services for projects like the Emanuel Baptist University in Oradea, Romania. Management of the construction budget, funding, contracting and critical path scheduling. Provide daily site inspections, reports and document progress for pay application approval. During construction provide design modifications to contractor resulting in significant cost savings for the owner.

Planning and Developent

Littlefield has served in Afghanistan for three years in support of Operaton Enduring Freedom as the Infrastructure Program Manager for the Corrections System Support Program (CSSP) under direction of the U.S. Department of State Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL). He provided Master Planning and budgeting for new construction, renovation and rehabilitation for all 34 Provincial Prisons and 250 District Detention Centers for the Afghan Prison System. He managed the 100 million USD program operational budget and controlled all personnel hiring and assignments. He provide regular briefings and recommendations to the Director General and General Staff on various prison facility planning, design and construction progress. Provided regular briefings to US Ambassadors, US Department of Defense Lieutenant Generals, Supervised the Architecture, Engineering and Construction Management staff in planning, acquisition, design, estimating, bidding, renovation and construction of prisons in Afghanistan. Monitored and controlled construction operations and rendered technical interpretations of plans and specifications. Supervised the Facilities staff in planning, scheduling, budgeting and coordinating the prison operations, management and maintenance. Initiated, designed and implemented a fully funded Afghan prison facilities operations and maintenance management program.

Lenders construction representative providing construction site observation and detailed reports verifying Code Compliance, construction quality, progress and billing verification for multiple projects in Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi and Texas.
